I am now available to do one-on-one search engine coaching through Skype. In a one hour consultation I can give you so much information it will give you several weeks tasks for your staff. I have some clients that want me to do the “busy work”, but that is tantamount to paying a lawyer of $300 an hour to do your laundry.
Instances when this is particularly valuable:
1. If you are setting up a new local business. There are a lot of key factors such as making sure you are set up correctly in Google maps and that all of your local citations are done correctly. This is a much easier process if you do it right from the beginning then if you do it haphazardly and have to clean it up later. Incorrect NAPS (name, address, phone number) is what Google maps uses to determine the coordinates for your business and how well you will appear on Google maps. If set up correctly, they get you in what I consider to be the most important part of Google in that is the local seven pack (click for 7 pack example)
2. If you have a staff that you can delegate tasks to but need someone with experience to look at your operation from a macro perspective and suggest ways to optimize it, so you can delegate or do it yourself. It isn’t rocket science, but it has to be done correctly.
3. Making sure you are targeting the correct keywords for your local business.
4. Proper setup of YouTube pages, social media, Pinterest which all serve to increase your business “authority” in a given area.
5. Making sure you are not doing things such as buying low quality links on fiverr that can potentially get de-indexed (banned) from Google.
6. Proper setup of Google Adwords or Facebook advertising so that you are not wasting money on non-relevant clicks.
In my opinion, this is a very valuable and cost effective way use of my services. This is not rocket science, but it’s absolutely crucial that you set it up right the first time because it is very difficult to undo mistak in
